About Us
How Landmark Fencing Got Started
Landmark Fencing is owned and operated by Lloyd Jackson, an Air Force veteran with a background in hands-on construction and renovation work.
Lloyd’s roots in the trades go back to 2017, when he began learning under the guidance of a family friend and mentor with decades of homebuilding experience. That early exposure shaped his approach to craftsmanship—learning how things are built, why they fail, and how to do the work correctly the first time.
When COVID hit, Lloyd was laid off and decided to start his own business. In the early days, he took on a wide range of renovation projects, including drywall, bathrooms, painting, and general handyman work. Over time, it became clear that working outdoors—building fences and decks—was where his skills and interests aligned best.
In 2022, Landmark Fencing was officially established with a focus on bringing reliable, high-quality fencing to the greater Dayton area.
